In the Book of Leviticus, is laying with one's wife during menstruation part of moral law?
Three types of laws from the Old Testament can be broken into the following categories: moral, ceremonial, and judicial. I understand that Jesus "fulfills" the Old Testament Laws (ceremonial/ritualistic law, dietary laws/cleaness law, etc...). However, I also understand that moral laws are still binding. So ... in the Book of Leviticus, is laying with one's wife during menstruation part of moral law?

I'm pretty sure that would fall into the category of dietary/cleanness.

I would think it comes under "ritual" since women were not allowed to enter the Temple during menstruation since they were ritually unclean.
Are you asking because you are not sure whether "lying with one's wife during menstruation" is wrong according to the Church?

No, it isn't.

Yes, that is correct. I understand that the ceremonial, dietary, hygiene, ritualistic laws were "fulfilled" by Jesus and are therefore no longer binding. I know that moral law was, and still is binding.
Moral law always exists, and I wondered if this falls under moral law according to the Catholic Church.

After reading the passage a few times and further looking into this, I believe you are correct. This falls into the dietary/cleanness category.
Thanks
