Pornography and Sloth

Hey guys, I've been struggling with pornography and masturbation for some years now, I've been going to confession regarding this issue for about 1.5 years, and I really really want to stop---these vices of impurity have just been eating me up from the inside and has resulted in bad consequences in my social life and school work. I've also recently started falling in the sin of sloth and it has had bad consequences on my school work. Today, because of some events, I have reached my breaking point, I WILL CHANGE, but I can't do it alone. I need your prayers, because to be honest I am an unworthy hypocritical Catholic. Pray that I may open my heart to God so that he can enter into my heart and crush my love for sin. I know that I cannot change myself alone. Thanks in advance!

as for sloth - get off your butt - get a hobby , take up a sport, find a reason to motivate yourself - sign up for a 5k or a half marathon or the 3 day walk for a cure for brea tcancer fund

This post is out of line for a prayer response. You do not know the OP, what measures he is taking for the two vices he mentioned, and what obstacles he faces.

The OP has openly admitted a problem and requested help in the form of prayer, and you have responded with criticism and unsolicited advice, and a commanding tone.

I am struggling with the exact same thing, I just lost my job due to sloth, & as for pornography I keep geeting myself into it, but last night I ended up asking a friend to put a porn blocker on my computer & keep a password that I wouldnt know, & if theres a website that i regularly use, such as Facebook or the itunes store & for some reason the program blocked them, Il just have him put in the password, & if possible make it so i can get on those websites without having to disable the blocker. Or if I urgently need to get on a website, like if I'm applying for jobs, Id recomend getting a library card and using there comuters. & if you use magazines or movies, Id throw them out in a dumpster somewhere where you can legally throw them. You dont want the devil tempting you to dig through your own garbage cans to get them back lol. Best of luck! And as for sloth Id find some fun things to do that dont involve the tv or computer, such as exercise or other outdoor activities.
