Boycott Ends Over Pepsi's Controversial Contract With Local Biotech
http://www.sandiegoreader.com/weblog...l-contract-wi/
This should prove that indeed Pepsi was lying and doing something wrong and that the boycott was a necessary thing
Good for Pepsi.

Don't they still donate to Planned Parenthood. Well I'm not sure if it's done so directly, or a matching grant type of thing.

I haven't purchased their products in years. Aren't they big sponsors of the gay pride celebration in SF?

Re: Boycott Ends Over Pepsi's Controversial Contract With Local Biotech
This boycott related to Pepsi's contract with Senomyx, which used a cultured cell line that was derived in the 1970s from embryonic cells. Pepsi did nothing wrong, and the flap over the cell line was, in my opinion, vastly overblown. God help us all, there are way more important things going on in the world to be concerned about.

Just because there are more important things to be concerned about doesn't mean we should ignore the little concerns.
