but whta do you think?
I think that there is no needed to defending or proving the truth of Christian
doctrine .We meet Jezus by the Heart, intellect is illusive and often
lead us to place that we dont want to be.
Intellect often lead us to priade.
One of most negated things by Jezus is pride.
To be Christians we need humility.

A pure faith such as yours is a beautiful thing, but even the Bible tells us we need more than that. St. Paul writes that we should "hold fast to the traditions we have handed on to you, whether by letter or word of mouth." This is pretty much a call to do exactly what you say we don't need to do.
You're right that we meet Jesus in our heart; that is the first and most important step of our journey with Him.. but it's not the last! And, yes, our intellects can often mislead us, but that's exactly why he gave us a Church to perfectly preserve His teachings and commandments.
You're also right that we need humility. Actually, humility is a very necessary part of being a faithful Catholic: submitting to the authority of God by obeying His commands as presented in Scripture and clarified by His Church; confessing all our sins to another human being (perhaps the most humbling act a person can perform!); performing acts of charity; participating in the Mass (keeping the Sabbath holy); and so on...
You are on the right track. Don't discount the Church yet. She has much to offer you, because she is a gift to you from God Himself. God bless you.

I partly agree and partly don't.
I agree that an individual does not need to know how to defend his beliefs or know good arguments in order to be a good Christian. I agree, that the intellect does carry the danger of pride.
But, the intellect, can be useful:
- We are to love God with our whole heart and mind.
- St. Peter: "to anyone who asks, be ready to make a defense of the hope that is in you."
- St. Paul: "be as wise as serpents, but as gentle as doves.
Second,
the intellect could help bring some other people to know God. Not necessarily everyone, or even most, but there may be some people who don't become believers because of intellectual objections. We can help them by being able to answer them.
- Finally, many students today give up their beliefs because of (pseudo)intellectual objections. We can help them by being able to give them good reasons for faith.

God gave us intellect so that we can reflect? But is the power of being able reflect a curse or a blessing......

Re: but whta do you think?
Of course intellect can be useful
to develop knowledge
but most of people forgets about heart
and that God is Love and they trust only yours reason.

The heart is important, yes. But, just as one can have an infatuation with another human being, so it is possible to have a passing infatuation with Jesus. That is why Evangelical Churches are filled with young people- but they do not stay, because, if the people are intelligent, they soon realize how vacuous it is. Like suddenly realize that your gilrfriend, who you once thought was a goddess, is utterly boring.
A human being is a thinking and feeling being. When thinking fails, feeling often carries us. But sometimes, feeling will also fail- then you need power of reflection. It is good to cultivate both.

Re: but whta do you think?
A human being is a thinking and feeling being
but only way to discover God is Love.
Thinking can be useful but sometimes can be obstacle.
