Question
I joined back in 2010 yet I still have under my login name New Member.
What gives with that? How long does it take to shed new member?

Re: Question
Not sure, the first few changes from "trial", to "junior", to "new" member happen in the first couple months... I don't really see a difference either, besides the trial period when I could only keep 5 messages in my inbox. Maybe it has to do with how often you visit?

This post explains membership status.

Looks like all you need is just one more post to become a Junior Member, just one.
Funny that you would ask just before a status change, but God does have a pretty good sense of humor I've found.

Okay, it hasn't changed. I see that the info says "After 100 posts." So, I guess you need 101 to be after 100 and to change to Junior Member. I was wrong about needing just one more post. Sorry. But, one more now should do it. I think.
