Want vintage Miraculous Medal
Friend admired my vintage medal and I hope to find one for her. Art Deco style. The gold medal sits atop black onyx which sits atop a gold plate with marcasites surrounding the onyx.
Found medals in sterling silver but not gold.
Any help is appreciated.

She'd bought it at an auction with some stuff. I have to have a new ring soldered to the top every several years...so, I've been wearing it for around 40 years!

I know I found a website once that uses old molds-to cast medals. The one I wear was included. I don't have it anymore. I'll try to search.
Maybe, if nothing else, you could take a photo of your friend's and send it around?

Oh, I own the medal which she admires. Yours is very pretty. Mine has 30 marcasites so it has some dazzle to it. I'm going to try the antique shops in town and see what they have to offer.

Yes, I've seen that one and others on ebay. I keep checking daily. My post was put on aol. too so there seems to be many showing up but not in gold.
