Default What is going on with all of the SPAM lately?

I just logged on and I cannot believe the new threads that have been started in the last few minutes! Has the site been hacked or something? Isn't there something in place to prevent these things from happening? I know there have been some spam problems lately, but there are about 5-6 different threads started by a user that are just.......I don't even know what to say. What is going on?

No the site hasn't been hacked, if it were the damage would be far greater.

This is simply an immature person (most likely militant atheist) who made an account simply to spam offensive threads when the Moderators are mostly inactive. When they get banned they simply create a new email address and create a new CAF account and start the process over.

Really pathetic how some in this generation waste their lives.

Edit: Hey Rat, gonna guess you're from Reddit right? Even 4chan isn't this pathetically EDGY,

Worst I have seen here - but like any community that is open to people to visit, we will get the odd one like this. Best ignored, and they will be taken down soon I am sure. The problem with pre-moderation or very wide nets to catch inappropriate words is that there are always unintended consequences, which also upset people.

I really do feel bad for you Rat, that you feel that this is the best way to deal with people.

Kindness and respect for others are not just religious values, they are human values. I hope that one day you'll see this and understand that, though you may not share the views of most of the people on this forum, you can at least act like a reasonable, intelligent, and respectful adult and either post threads for legitimate discussion, or simply keep your thoughts to yourself. You'll be in my prayers.

That is all that I'm going to say to you Rat. Good day.

And a big thank you to the mods for getting rid of those disgusting threads and posts. Quick action. Thank you very much.

The best thing to do is not to bring any attention to him. The mods will do their job so it's best to just wait. Think of these people as children, they crave attention. It's best not to give it to a child when they are misbehaving just as its best not to give it to the trolls. The thing that annoys them the most is getting no attention, no reactions, nothing.
