I had mono in college. Was in the hospital for a week, liver enzymes in the thousands, dehydrated, couldn't speak or eat. I was tired and run down for months. I had to sit down sometimes while walking to class. For several years, then, I seemed to always have tonsillitis. Finally I had a tonsillectomy and felt better than I had in years. Mono is a tough one to kick for some. Just make sure her doctor is aware of your concerns and her frequent illnesses. Poor little thing! I will say a prayer for her health. I know how miserable it can be.
