Default Could this be a demonic attack? and what should i do?

I am a youth minister. The story from two weeks ago - one of my young adults (19) brought me to meet with his girlfriend (who i didn't know) who says she has been seeing 2 "demons" every night when she sleeps since she was 10. I believe she is 18 or 19. I was kinda surpised to hear this - it caught me off guard. she was registered to come on a retreat weekend for youth, and leading up to the retreat she said the demon was sitting on her chest and chocking her. I tried to calm her down, and prayed with her. I gave her blessed salt (that's all i had) and told her to sprinkle it in her room. On the weekend we had confession and although she isn't Catholic, I told her to still and just go and talk with the priest. The priest prayed with her and said if it continues she will need an exorcism. (this is not the pastor) after the weekend she didn't see them for about a week, but now she said they are back...

i'm not sure what I should do. I have been encouraging her to come out to church events and to mass to try and introduce her to the Church and Jesus. Since she isn't Catholic and has little understanding of the Church, it makes it difficult to help direct her.

she is not Catholic (not yet anyway). so she can't receive absolution. I'm not sure of her intent is. How do we deal with the immediate situation without Confession, b/c even if she were to become Catholic, it would be almost a year b/f she could do so with the RCIA process.

Any suggestions would be helpful. I understand some sort of mental illness could be at play or it could be genuine. Thoughts?
