She'llgive you grace and bring you up to heaven if you show Her lots of love.

This is great. I'm still developing my relationship with Mary. The fact that an archangel saluted her as such is enough for me to know that she is worthy of at least that (and probably more).

Re: "The Rosary is the most powerful prayer"
I wonder if people think the Rosary is so powerful because it has everything:
-The Hail Mary (devotion to her and requesting her intercession)
-the Our Father (which Jesus taught us)
-The Glory Be (in worship of the Trinity)
-Fatima prayer (direct prayer to Jesus asking for Mercy)

That's how I'm relating to Mary, like a child. My own mother is not very touchy-feely so it's kinda cool to have this new mother figure.

The Mass is the most powerful prayer.

Re: "The Rosary is the most powerful prayer"
I believe all prayers, prayed with devotion are powerful. But not in vain Pope John Paul II was so devoted to our blessed Mother, atributing her intercession when he was shot. Later he added the luminous misteries to the rosary. In all of her appearances she has asked us to pray it for the conversion of sinners, so it must be powerfull don´t you think?!

That is what I've always heard. I don't have time right now, but I could pull many quotes off my bookshelf that support this.

What can be more powerful than unifying yourself to the eternal of our Lord's sacrifice? :P

The Fatima prayer is a modified version of the Jesus Prayer. I believe that is the most powerful prayer because it invokes the mercy of God through the most magnificent name of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

Re: "The Rosary is the most powerful prayer"
The mass IS the most powerful prayer - it is the very sacrifice of Christ to His Father. The Church has no higher or more perfect form of prayer. Anything to the contrary is heresy - our entire faith finds its power and source in the eucharistic prayer of the Church. After the mass, the liturgy of the hours/divine office, as the official prayer of the Church, is surely the mos powerful prayer - for with the mass it forms the perfect prayer of Christ made through His body the Church to the Father. The Rosary Is most assuredly the most powerful PRIVATE prayer/devotion as Our Lady has granted her own great authority and grace to it...but the liturgy always comes first.

Dude, worthy at lest because an archangel saluted Her? Mary like gave Jesus the means to save us by giving Him Her own flesh and body, amking Him human. She like accepted not only Jesus as Her Son but all men as Her children and tries hard to save them. She even wanted to save Judas from his sins and he only commited suicide because he was too damn stubborn and pessimistic. She saved thousands of native Americans from their superstitious practices and uropeans when She appeared at Las Lajas, Ocotlan and Guadalupe, inspired and continues to inspire many people through Her advice, apparitions and the Rosary and did tons of other things that would take too ling to list here. Mary is worthy because of what She is and of the things She did. There's a reason God made Her that way and its because He lvoes Her and made Her loveable.

Re: "The Rosary is the most powerful prayer"
Correct me if Im wrong, but I was raised to believe the Mass was the most powerful. The Rosary is the most powerful we can do alone, the Our Father alone is a very powerful prayer, but the Rosary has 6 Our Fathers in it. Its safe to say the Mass is the most powerful, the Rosary is 2nd to the Mass if Im correct

Re: "The Rosary is the most powerful prayer"
The Catholic Encyclopedia gives as close to the real and factual history of the Rosary, trying the best to separate pious legend and myth from what can be historically demonstrated.

One of the most pernicious errors of the modern world is the assumption that if something cannot be proven by historical-evidentiary methods, it is necessarily false.

The word "proven" isnt used in their information.
That is why I chose the word demonstrated.
