I was away from the church for some years but living out the Christian faith as an Evangelical Christian. At one point in my life I even said that I was not a Catholic. I've come back and received the Sacrament of Reconciliation and Holy Communion. Am I considered to be in communion with the Roman Catholic church again?
You didn't mention if you are married in the Catholic Church. If not, that has to be rectified before you can receive the sacraments. But if your marriage is valid (assuming that you are married), then you are back. Welcome homed!
