Default Book Resources

Here is "The Catholic Answer BIble", an New American Bible, the official version used in mass of the USA. It has lots of apologetics, Why do Catholics believe what they do?
http://www.amazon.com/New-Catholic-A...c+Answer+Bible
I recomend this Bible for all new Catholics. In fact my church buys this Bible for all RCIA students and teenage confirmation students at the begining of the classes to be used in class. It has sections that explain Mary, Papal Authority, Purgetory and all of the things that protestants wrestle with during their conversion.

Here is a new resource 'The New Catholic Answer Bible RCIA Program "
http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_no...e+RCIA+Program

Here is a book “Rome Sweet Home” that is a conversion story by Scott Hahn, a previous Presbyterian pastor. Helps explain some of the issues we face in our conversion.

Total Cathecisis Books

Creed is excellent to teach the basic beliefs, Liturgy and the sacraments go into detail of all 7 sacraments. These book have activities for youth to learn, but it actually goes more into depth than RCIA classes.
Catholic Faith Handbook for Youth

Excellent for anyone.

Haydock's Catholic Bible Commentary, 1859 edition.

For people interested in joining the Catholic Church, for anyone with questions about the faith, and for converts to share what they have gone through in their conversion process.

Could you tell me which version of the Catholic Answer Bible you are recommending?

The link asks you to go to Amazon home page instead of directing you to specific product.

Thanks in advance.
