It's a bit slow.
We played a similar game here about 3 years ago. It started before we conceived DS2, but was still slowly going on after he was born.....I think it's been dormant for years.
How can we liven it up?

Well, I'm back and I will try to liven things up a bit.
I've been processing all the pet license renewal for the city this month. Some of the names are so funny, like the chihuahua named "Duke."

Any bulldogs named "Fluffy"?
Or Cats named "Wolf?"
Have you processed any Show Dogs? They always have names like, "Mr. Fluffikins Apple Turnover Jenkins"

No show dog names, yet. A pair of cats named "George" and "Burns," so maybe they are show cats. I would have called them "Burns" and "Allen."

I agree
It's hard to imagine that a male cub like this will grow up to be about 900 pounds.

I wouldn't want to see them except behind bars or in a picture.

Indeed, places with bears are, consequently, places where humans are not at the top of the food chain.

We had a bear go into our neighbors house. Broke the window and jumped in. It was a yearling. I was talking to the man of the house when it happened. His wife was inside. It wasn't long until we saw her come out the front door with their dog. I called 911 and they had me stay on the line with them until the bear exited through the same broken window. The bear earlier had broken into another home and ate their freshly cooked apple pie. The game warden came and tracked it down and killed it . There was nothing they could do because of the many houses it broken into at least five. With that learned skill it was not possible to relocate. I still feel bad.

Re: Last person to post here wins 3 !!
I have encountered full-grown bears twice in my life, and had to turn and flee.
The first time was in 1960 at Yosemite National Park, and the bear was coming home from a rummage in the then open garbage dump. My Mom had accidentally locked herself out of our tiny cabin, and was on her way to meet my Dad, with my baby sister in her arms, and me, as a four year old, tagging along.
All of a sudden we hear the Ranger's warning, as he is herding the bear along our little "street." Mom can't get into the cabin, so she grabs my hand and runs for the restrooms. I'll swear that my feet never touched the ground until we were safely inside the ladie's convenience. Poor Mom, out of breath, is telling the other ladies not to leave. We hear the bear as the Ranger in his jeep moves him along the paths.
Mom was so worried about Dad, because he had left ahead of us. Trust Dad, he always had at least three cameras at the ready, so there are plenty of pictures of the bear, the jeep, and the Ranger.
Many years later, I was with my Mom and Dad in Sequoia National Park. This time, I'm the young Mom, with my baby in arms, and my four year old at my side. We were walking up a trail, and encountered a sow with her cubs, foraging in the brush. She looked up, and we very quietly turned and walked slowly away. After we were at a bend, we walked very quickly, even to a gallop pace, warning other hikers who were headed this way. Even Dad, still with three cameras and a video camera, didn't stop!
I hope, now that I am a grandmother myself, that I don't run into any more bears, although they sometimes even wander into Seattle.

Yesterday, I came across a pair of dogs named "Socks" and "Boots," as well as a pair of cats named "Rosemary" and "Thyme."
I've come across some names almost as preposterous as yours, thought. I did see a chihauhau named "Rocky." I had to giggle.
Worse than that, I saw a dog listed as a Labrador/Welsh Corgi mix! Can you imagine???
