Default Broken Crucifix?

I have a St. Benedict crucifix with a wood cross, and I already know that the corpus has a tendency to break off. One day, the corpus fell off and I was able to reattach without any need for glue. So I just went to a priest to bless it (and do all the prayers for St. Benedict medals and crucifixes). Then another day it just started to fall off but then I was able to get it to stick back on, I wasn't sure if I was supposed to bless it again or I just felt awkward about asking the priest to bless it all over again so I didn't. Again just yesterday, the corpus fell completely off, probably because I was jumping without putting my crucifix under my shirt or in my pocket. I'm getting a bit tired of it falling off so I wanted to super glue it, but someone already reattached it without super glue. So the point of this post is, is it wrong to purposely remove the corpus in order to super glue it back on? I feel a bit weird about doing that. Also, is it necessary to get the crucifix blessed again each time it breaks? And if so, is it improper to wear a crucifix that gets broken and needs to be blessed again?

No - if fact it is a more loving thing to do than to let it keep falling off.
I know what you mean about feeling "weird". Last week I was mounting a small crucifix onto a wooden stand for a customer. In order to do it properly in the design I had to place a piece of wood over the crucifix and actually "hammer" it (softly) to get it to seat properly. Man did THAT feel weird...and that crucifix was not even blessed....

The thing to remember is that these objects - even a blessed object - are mere "things". Whatever respect we show them is directed not at them but at Him who they represent.
Sometimes we have to remind ourselves of this...

Not that I am aware of.

No
