Default Are Hillaire Belloc, GK Chesterton, or Dorothy Day candidates for canonisation?

Their socio-economic theories are largely out-of-vogue, but their influence in other ways remains strong, IMHO.

The life of Dorothy Day is being investigated to determine if she should be declared a saint. Her current status is Servant of God. Here is a link to the website of the group promoting her cause.

I believe Chesterton has a cause for sainthood started.

It isn't their socio-economic policies, whether in vogue or not, that determines their eligibility for sainthood. It is whether they exemplify heroic virtue in their life and reflected in their writings.
