Can I receive communion in an Episcopal church?
I am an active Roman Catholic generally going to daily mass & communion. A friend's funeral is this coming Saturday and I'd like clarification on whether it is appropriate to partake in their communion rite. I'm inclined to think not because I do not subscribe fully to that community and hence should not "be in communion" with them. I would like to know for sure so that I can explain why I did or did not participate.
