Default Question about Mother Angelica

I remember reading (I think in one of hear interviews with Raymond Arroyo) about Mother Angelica describing a relationship she had with a friend. If I remember correctly, she loved this friend very dearly, and the friend ending up betraying her somehow. Mother Angelica said that after that experience she would never place that much love/trust in another human being.
Does anyone else remember reading about this? And if you do, do you know where?

I don't know but I'm curious. I think you might've misheard her. That doesn't sound like Mother Angelica!

If you don't receive a satifying answer, try emailing Raymond Arroyo.

I'm not positive, but I vaguely recall it was a lay woman whom she collaborated closely with.

I know that she didn't have it easy. One betrayal in the midst of what seemed like an onslaught of heterodox teachings and outraged bishops.

- I believe.

I watched some videos of Mother Angelica,

-She is so wonderful and lovingly-

Believe me, brothers sisters, it was must be she at that time just so upset that she say she would never place that much love trust in another human being if she really said this.

-Dear brothers sisters-
Do not mention that, and do not say more of it.
Had she been really say that, she would not mean it in her heart.

And then I shall say, " She is so wonderful and lovely, She must be love God with all her heart, and she loves others as herself.
All loves her."

Sweet loving Mother Angelica.

I don't know about Mother Angelica, but St. Therese of Lisieux shares a similar story from her school days in her autobiography.

Hmm... now that you mention St. Therese, I'm beginning to doubt myself. Maybe I mixed up Mother Angelic and St. Therese.... time to go back and reread "Story of a Soul" to see!
