Seriously, in this day and age it's an inspiration. My folks hit the big 5-0 next year, and I think that sort of longevity in a marriage should be celebrated.

LilyM-So do you begin your new job this Monday? Tell us all about it when you do.
Prayers for those struggling with job issues.

Not until the 16th. This week will be spent looking for a place and begging/borrowing/buying (only as a last resort) the stuff I need to fill it. And next week actually moving said stuff to the location, setting up, moving in and generally getting settled.

Re: The Mudgies: Gibberish, Australia, and Us!
It is part of my delicately refined Mudgieness NOT to pay attention. My minions are supposed to do that for me. This attitude is taken from a couple of cats I once knew.
Anyway, I was too busy most of the time to pay attention--kids, part time jobs, traveling hubby, sick mom. People told me I'd be sorry when the mess was gone. Nope--thoroughly enjoyed kids, am thoroughly enjoying reading entire chapters of books and having complete thoughts.
If anybody has some extra rain clouds, push them over here. It has rained north, south, east, and west--but not here.

Good for you!
Plenty of rain here, but we'll keep it all - the next drought can't be too far away

Best of mudgie luck with all that, LilyM.
Please don't forget to drop in here from time to time, to assist me in sorting out these miscreants, misfits and misinformers
