Yes, up until the Messiah comes according to Jews, or the Second Coming of Jesus according to Christians (and Muslims?). As to other religions, I don't know what their views are, or if this is even an appropriate question.

I think the 2nd coming of Jesus and the end of the world will be pretty definitive proof of God's existence.

...yeah...until it's undeniable...ad the only way for it to be undeniable is for it to capture all five senses simultaneously....that's why I'm s catholic...it hits every part of me..that's wh I can't see why one woul buy into the lie that there is no God...it has to be ending soon..

I wish I was jewish...Jesus was Jewish.

I thought of that too. But then the Judaism was wayward during that time which warranted Jesus to become human to save Israel from its waywardness. So I guess Christianity is an upgraded version of Judaism?

Mmmm...maybe not "upgraded" idk what you'd call it. Because we get so many things from Judaism...that'd be like me saying I'm an upgraded version of my dad haha.

I was just saying it'd be cool to be a part of the same church that Jesus actually PARTOOK(is this a word? Bahaha) in...but I'm a catholic because I'm a part of the church he started.

What's inappropriate about it?

What I mean is I don't know if the notion of revelation in the sense of making G-d's presence known to all humanity, including atheists, is a component of religions such as Hinduism and Buddhism, as it is in Christianity, Judaism, and Islam.

It's not (studied them in college, albeit to a minor amount). They tend to let people come to the religion instead of actively trying to convert, at least from what I've seen. I may be wrong.

I'm currently agnostic/atheist and I know quite a few people on both ends of the spectrum. People who aren't religious AND are open minded (one doesn't necessarily mean the other), tend to not believe in any one divine power because they haven't experienced any definitive proof that such a higher power exists. It's not a question of how I haven't or why I don't believe....I just don't. For the same reasons you don't believe in other religions.

P.s. I'm new, if i offended anyone or overstepped any boundaries I wasn't aware of I apologize. Please tell me if I did, so I can act correctly in the future. Also, any questions about atheism that anyone would care to ask me about, I'm open to answering.

[EDIT] Mods, if i should take this down let me know. I just saw the sticky. Still getting used to the site.... [EDIT]

There are no, or shouldn't be, Jewish Evangelicals either. People convert to Judaism due to their own desire, and are in fact cautioned three times to consider how difficult being Jewish really is. However, Judaism does believe that once the Messiah comes, G-d's presence will be manifest to all. Yet even then no conversions to Judaism are necessary.

I believe in other religions...I see their point. They're right! Just not the most right in my eyes, but I digress...but doesn't that take a lot of faith? To say...I don't believe in an all powerful, divine entity, but then still follow a desire to figure it out? You seem very polite and well read, you never asked WHY you are those things? I'm just curious, and nah no offense taken dude.

This is why I respect Judaism, it's NOT an easy job...

So is this earth basically a big test? So God can test his metal? Make sure that the creatures he created are capable ...then they get to spend eternity with him?

I actually had the same confusion on my intro post. Faith is defined as trust in something. In this analogy, we will call it Light. In the absence of light, there is darkness or a lack of faith. It's also why I'm listed as Agnostic/Atheist.

Atheist tend to say "God does not exist"
Agnostics say "I cannot know if god exists"
I say "I do not currently know if god exists. But until I have undeniable proof that a higher power DOES in fact exists, I will behave as if they don't."
