Catholics and Orothodx march TOGETHER in Pro-Life pilgrimage
Read about it here http://www.lifesitenews.com/news/23-...oast-of-russia
From the article:
June 25, 2012 (HLIWorldWatch.org) - On June 14, a coalition of Catholic and Eastern Orthodox pro-life leaders from 18 countries launched the “From Ocean to Ocean” pro-life pilgrimage of the icon of Our Lady of Czestochowa from the Eastern Coast of Russia to Fatima, Portugal. The intent of the pilgrimage is to promote the defense of life across continents that have been decimated by widespread contraception and abortion.

Rarely hear of Eastern Orthodox being prominent about the pro life cause, so this is great to hear.

Neat.
Wish I could have been there.

Hallelujah!
Lord, have mercy on our fallen world for allowing abortion to continue, for encouraging the slaughter of unborn children, and for perpetrating this gravely sinful act execrable to the soul and destructive of innocent lives. Bring as much good out of this joint Catholic-Eastern Orthodox pilgrimage as is possible, open the eyes of Christians and non-Christians alike to the depths of wickedness which the horror of abortion plumbs, and place in the hearts of your children a burning desire to bring this loathsome abomination to an end once and for all. Amen.

Re: Catholics and Orothodx march TOGETHER in Pro-Life pilgrimage
I think you don't hear about them in the pro-life movement that often is because you don't hear much about them period. No offense, but I've had to seek out information on the Eastern Orthodox churches rather than them reaching out to others. Maybe this will change.
