Pope Pius XII bash: "Under His Very Windows" by Susan Zucotti
Some political science professor from Macalester College wrote a 1-star out of 5 review on Amazon.com on Rabbi Dalin's "The Myth of Hitler's Pope", all because he claims it uses no "archived sources" that aren't written in Italian (he assumes Dalin can't read it). But he praises Yale professor Susan Zucotti's book ["Under His Very Windows"], as he claims she does use "archived sources", and that she's already a highly-regarded scholar on Holocaust history.
However, Rabbi Dalin mentions her in his book, and he states she ignores a lot of evidence that is in support of Pius XII, and even when she is faced with something that does support the fact that Pius XII helped the Jews, he finds some excuse for why the reader should dismiss the fact. Critical reviews on her book on Amazon also state her book is a lot like this.
But has anyone here read Under His Very Windows? What is it like?

I have the book, and am looking at the references in the back of it right now. Here's one of the archived sources listed in the book that isn't in Italian:
Abraham A. Neuman, Cyrus Adler: A Biographical Sketch (New York and Philadelphia: The American Jewish Committee and the Jewish Publication Society of America, 1942), 143
I typed this directly from the book, so it's my fault if anything is misspelled. Since Rabbi Dalin is a Jewish Rabbi we at least know that he doesn't have a dog in the race.

Re: Pope Pius XII bash: "Under His Very Windows" by Susan Zucotti
I think I should rephrase my question: I'd like to know if someone here has read "Under His Very Windows" by Susan Zucotti, which is critical of Pope Pius XII; not "The Myth of Hitler's Pope" by Rabbi David Dalin (which I own).
The professor on Amazon.com gave "The Myth of Hitler's Pope" by Rabbi Dalin 1 star because it doesn't use archived sources in Italian. He's basically telling people they shouldn't read his book because he thinks it's poorly researched, while he says people should instead read "Under His Very Windows" by Susan Zucotti because he claims she uses archived sources (what the professor is really most likely doing is finding some way to attack Dalin's book because he sees it as a serious threat to his bigoted anti-Catholic ideology).
