My New Icon Corner!
I'm pretty sure the pictures of it will appear with this post. Just thought I'd share my new Icon Corner. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks,
FKC

Beautiful - can never go wrong with the Icon Not Made by Human Hands, Christ the Savior and the Mother of God.

Re: My New Icon Corner!
Lovely! May it strengthen your prayer life and help bring peace to your home!
In the picture with the close-up, forgive my ignorance, but I do have some questions.
1. What are the books (I assume one is the Bible)?
2. The small icon on the far left - who is that?
3. The skinny icon second from the right - who is that?
4. The icon on the far right - who is that?
Thanks!

Lovely icon corner of which you should be very proud. The only thing I see missing is a chotki from the Master Beadsman.

One is the Jordanville Prayer book on the left and the other is a Gospel Book
Far left is Tsar Nicholas II
The second one from the right is Michael the Archangel
The far right is Father Nicholas the Wonderworker

The picture does not really show but the things sitting there are on the top of my bookshelves and the first shelf down is where a keep other prayer books, some candles for burning, Holy water, and my favourite of all? My chotki!

It's a Ruthenian Icon called the Weeping Icon of Marijapovch that is Wonderworking.

Re: My New Icon Corner!
Did you get your icons blessed? The reason I ask is because of the icon of Our lady of Perpetual Help looks like its made by Monastery Icons and I hear they put all these hindu spells on them and stuff.

Huh?
Nice prayer space! I'm Roman Catholic but I like the Jordanville prayer book too. Are you Roman Catholic KC?
