This morning on the Journey Home 7-31-2012
Marcus had a guest whos first name was David I believe. I was sitting in the parking lot of my work listening to this gentleman who had a wonderful story. I sat there as long as i could to get his full name but I had to get to work.
Can anybody point me to this episode or the guest full name so that I can find it in the archives.
Thanks much

The "encore" of The Journey Home that is sent out to radio is typically a "best of" program from years before.
It would be in the EWTN Religious Catalog someplace, but one would need to know more for a meaningful search. What was his former religion? Was he a minister?

If it is David Anders (former Presbyterian minister), his program is here in CD or DVD.

This is what I was afraid of. All I know is that his first name was Dave. He was exptrememly knowlegable about the reformation/LutherCalvin etc. But this of course describes a lot of Grodi's programs.
He studied and studied and studied the Reformation era along with the ECF in a strong effort to prove it correct. But of course came away quite differently.
I'd just like to be able to use it as a resource. He spoke convincingly and was well spoken.
Darn it, I sat in the truck waiting for the break hopin Marcus wouls state his full name but he did not and I could not sit there for another half hour. Oh well.
I was hoping perhaps somebody else listened this morning. It was on at 7AM Eastern time.

It'll be on at 5 in my local market. There's a chance that EWTN selected the same episode for all markets today. If the individual stations/networks select their own from the catalog, however, it could prove difficult. I'll let you know what I find out.
BTW - I think, since it is a TV format program, they introduce by full name at the beginning and end of the program and just put his name in text at the bottom of the screen otherwise. Unfortunately, that's difficult to see on radio.

No dice. I got a former United Methodist minister named Josh.
If you want to try the David Anders route, you could tune into the EWTN YouTube account. The Journey Home has episodes there, as well which you could view any time. As a former Presbyterian, he would have had Calvinist leanings.

Re: This morning on the Journey Home 7-31-2012
I have watched and listened to David Anders on EWTN and Catholic Answers and have enjoyed his answers very much. I particularly like the calm way he answers questions with a lot of facts but not so much talking that the actual answer to the question gets lost in the extra words.
