Finnegans Wake?
Who has read it? I had to read Joyce's Ulysses in college, might have come to read Finnegans Wake later on but I left school. I'm thinking of reading it now because of a reference to it in another work. I've been catching up on some classics in lots of areas that I missed.
Would you say FW is worth the time? Is it offensive for a Catholic, or tolerable? My interest is academic, not pornographic, so even if there are racy sections, it would be less of a moral issue than perhaps one of personal taste, I'm thinking. And if I just absolutely didn't like it I could return it to the library.
Opinions?
