Accidental Masturbation?
A few days ago, I felt a mild but irritating pain in my testes. l probed the area to try to pin-point the cause of the pain. This caused an eraction, but I was to preoccupied with my pain to truly notice. I found the area that the pain was at, and I stared feeling to see if it was bruised or internal pain. Doing this caused ejaculation. Does this count as masturbation? There was NO lust or intention of orgasm whatoever. Is this a mortal or grave sin and would I need to confess it?

Re: Accidental Masturbation?
You cannot masturbate by accident. Masturbation is when the action of stimulating the genitals is done for the purpose of sexual arousal. In your case it wasn't done for that purpose, but for a medical one. So no masturbation.

Confess it anyway - it's good for the soul.

You did not sin. It would only have been a sin if you did it intending to stimulate yourself sexually.

It is not good for the soul to confess things that aren't sins.

Re: Accidental Masturbation?
Leave that for the priest to decide.

Re: Accidental Masturbation?
Confession is always good (assuming you have a good Confessor) because the priest can help you avoid sinning in the future.
Also, the problems persist, I suggest you see a doctor. Some things start out really small and end up being major problems. The sooner something is caught, the easier it is to fix it, and it may even end up saving your life in extreme cases.

Thanks for the advice, Stephe. The pain turned out to be from when I had walked into a pole a few hours prior (I am a Dumm Koph ).

Leaving everything for the priest to decide is a great way to wind up scrupulous. We're all capable of making most of these determinations for ourselves through the exercise of our reasoning abilities.

Re: Accidental Masturbation?
You might want to check in with a urologist if anything like that keeps happening.
