Re: Prayer Warrior
I also would like to be a Prayer Warrior, but the navigation instructions no longer seem to reflect how to move around in the forums and find things.
Searching for:
"CAF Prayer Warrior"
"CAF Prayer Warriors"
"Prayer Warrior"
and "Prayer Warriors" do NOT work to find the Group to apply to. It finds the "CAF Prayer Warriors Support Group", but that requires membership in this "mythical" "Prayer Warrior" Group to join.
Hmph!
This must be addressed!

You did nothing wrong. Prayer Warriors are always needed. I've been ignored three times. I wasn't turned down. I was ignored. And that did hurt. Please know you are not alone. You can apply but I guess some of us just aren't wanted.
I'm so sorry. It really hurt when I tried the third time & was ignored again. I even sent a PM to one of the people that heads the program. She never responded. And it's been years.
How many times do you have to be ignored before you start to think there is something wrong with you, that you're inferior in some way you can't figure out, and that these are CATHOLICS who are ignoring you?
I'm just so sorry the program is so messed up. CAF should do something about this. This is just awful. I don't care about my being ignored so much anymore but now I'm finding out that I'm not the only one.
When I applied there was a forum member who was a self-proclaimed pagan. She was allowed to be a Prayer Warrior. I was not.
There is something wrong with this procedure and it has been going on for a long time.

Ophelia - sometimes it takes a while , I would PM whoever is suppose to accept the applications
I took me a few weeks after I requested to be a prayer warrior
You can still pray for people and respond to prayer request

Evidently there are those who do not agree with you. I can't say any more. I'm sorry. I wll no longer participate in this thread and I will probably leave the forum. I am not wanted here. My best wishes and prayers go to all of you. God bless.
