All threads in the 'news' section should declare what country it concerns
Not everyone here is from the US, yet the news section is flooded with very localised news stories which don't always make it clear it concerns the US, e.g. about crime statistics rise, etc. It would be good if all news threads had to include in the title the country which it concerned, as this forum is very "multi-national" and I think it would offer some clarity.

Re: All threads in the 'news' section should declare what country it concerns
Its not a bad idea. I noticed that you have tacked on a [UK] at the end of your thread titles, when the news article concerns the UK. I think that would be easy for us to do most of the time, although sometimes we might need to include two or three countries.

Perhaps there should be two new sections - 'Various Stories About The Naughtiness of Obama' and 'Who's The Most Conservative GOP Candidate?', then the World News section would be largely empty and could fill up with news?

I've more or less always done that, when I've gone to post some threads I've looked at the title and thought "Maybe I should make it clear it's the UK, not the US" and then after posting a couple today I looked through the World News forum and thought it might be good to have a similar system across the forum.
But yes, when an article concerns a few countries you might have to have a tag such as [Europe] instead.
