Pagan friendship
I knew that I had a pagan boy in the university group, nothing special: slavic nation, the unity, the Judeo-Masonic conspiracy and other nonsense wanders in his head. He knew that I am a jewish and apparently proved to be an adequate person in my eyes.
Today in class when we are started viewing his images with pagan holidays he told me during a conversation casually said quickly, that: "I should kill you"...
well, of course I translated it into a joke and did not respond to it, we talked briefly about his paganism where it and stuff, but that was after he said he wanted to kill me. I just thought that maybe I hear it wrong, cause in the pictures we looked at some guns and pistols and the target (I just do not know the subtleties of pagan holidays)
Before we looked at his photos have been no conflict, on the contrary, he seemed friendly to me and we even work in a team in the classroom, so to speak. maybe it's the usual childish which then goes after contact with the object of hatred? I am amazed

Seek help immediately. Contact a professor/teacher or trusted authority figure to determine your next step. Killing is never a joke and should be treated as a serious threat. I really don't think it's a good idea to just write this off as a joke, because if it isn't, the consequences could be extremely perilous.

you need a new friend. In this day and age making any kind for threat against anyone for any reason should be reported and you need to stay away from him. Agree 100% with the above post!

This. Report him and avoid him. Seriously.

Re: Pagan friendship
Speaking as a Pagan, your friend sounds like he has a couple screws loose. No one, Pagan or otherwise, should be threatening to kill another person. I'd definitely talk to a professor or someone in authority.

Re: Pagan friendship
I still think it's his silly humor and pathetic way to show me my place because I am jew. Also he's jokes mostly based on this low level, I think that he just did not say it for REAL, and I think that in the beginning of the study year, teachers do not want to hear this information, and also this is not gonna be a very positive impact on my future stay at this university.
oh guys

Re: Pagan friendship
I agree with the other respondents. Report him immediately and follow up to make sure the relevant authorities are actually doing something. Serious and open expression of homicidal ideation is frightening.

Re: Pagan friendship
yes, immediately and you need to contact your professor, campus police as well as local police so you cover all your bases in case someone blows you off. Even if you think that he was silly, he should not be making any kind of statements like this in this day and age. Who knows, there have been a number of campus killings coming from kids with a few screws loose and if someone spoke up ahead of time maybe could have been prevented.

Re: Pagan friendship
If it bothered you enough to post a comment about, it bothered you enough to justify reporting his comment.

Re: Pagan friendship
Even if you believe he is joking, you should report him. Joking about something that serious is still very serious. Here in USA, threatening to kill someone is a crime. Here, we've had recent shootings, and in every case there are small warning signs that something was not right with that person. But no one bothered to act on what they saw.
What he says has nothing to do with his religion.
