This is amazing.

Not to detract from the conversation, though, but isn't the entire wedding process --- as far as *men* are concerned --- an exercise in humility???

Indeed, I think it is an exercise in humility. Having additional 'outward signs' for people who don't see a wedding (or marriage) as such may in fact be a good idea (in the sense of drawing connections and so forth).

Because of how clear washing the bride's feet is in terms of humility, I would like to do the same (should I find someone to marry, of course ).


Thanks for bringing up the point about humility.
