I certainly agree with adopting children and caring for those who need homes. BUT...it is also twisted to say, "You are obligated to care for the child I created," or, "If you don't care for the children created by others, they'll be killed." Would such logic work with my 6 year old? Walk over to my neighbor and say, "Hey, life is stressful. I'm going to kill my kid. What??? You don't think I should? Okay, then YOU must take him."
It's also a red herring, because as others have pointed out, there are so many people waiting to adopt that they have to go to China, Russia, Hungary, and more, to find babies. If pro-lifers passed a law requiring every pro-life person to adopt ten kids, it wouldn't change anything. Pro-abortionists would simply say, "It's beside the point, I have a 'right' to abortion."
