Can Catholics Officiate at Non-Catholic Marriages?
I have a family member who officiated at the marriage of a Jew and a Muslim. She paid $65 and obtained a license to officially celebrate their non Christian wedding. She thought it was very nice to be asked, and saw no problem with conducting the service.
Has she committed any sin in this situation, and how can I help her understand the issue?
