Mods: delay posting priveleges of new registrants?
Hi Mods!!!
ISTM that there ought to be a way to approve registrants before they begin to post. If that were the case, then at least the number of people who post ads about TV shows would be minimized and limited to the day
Thanks for all your work

Or at least disable links in posts for a while please.

Re: Mods: delay posting priveleges of new registrants?
I know it's annoying when someone posts spam, but some new posters come on here because they have urgent advice or prayer needs. I don't think they should be punished just because some people don't want to look at thread titles about the new episode of New Girl.

Make links a privilage for New Members (as opposed to Trial Members) and above.

The tech staff is working on this situation.
Meanwhile, take note that spam like that is never on here very long anyway.
