Default "That Man is You" Series by Steve Bollman

My husband recently joined a spirituality group at our parish (we are Catholic) called "That Man is You". It is by Steve Bollman, founder of Paradisus Dei. Does anyone have experience with this spirituality series or have any opinions about the content, etc.?
Thanks!!!

They had that at my old church and it was highly thought of. Since I'm a woman, I didn't attend, so I don't know much about what they did. I believe the emphasis was allowing God to help guide you as a husband and father.

Thumbs up Re: "That Man is You" Series by Steve Bollman

I am part of an group in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee that has used this program in over 15 parishes with great success.

It was initially approved to be used in our Archdiocese by Cardinal Dolan when he was our Archbishop, and has received approval from our current Archbishop, Archbishop Listecki.

Each pastor is also brought in on the decision as well and they have been very supportive for many reasons. The first is that it is completely run by laypeople so they don't need to give the pastor another thing to do. Some groups are holding reconciliation services once a month in addition to the program.

Also most parishes don't have an active men's group in our area so this is wonderful.

I believe it to be a part of the new-evangelication that Pope JPII and Pope Bennedict have called for. Our men need to be evangelized!

St. Joseph pray for us,

My DH went to That Man Is You for three years and I have seen nothing but great things come from him attending. When he would come home he would share the information with me so I could benefit as well.

I don't fully understand what a "spirituality group" is but this is the premier Catholic men's program if not the only one of it's kind. It actively builds men weekly to be holy fathers and husbands. I've been a part of the program for over a year and I can't get enough Steve Bollman, TMIY, BXVI, JPII, St. Joseph, our Blessed Mother, and all the saints and angels. It's helped me to serve and lay down my life every day for my family as their guardian.

Every parish needs this program. As the first line of defense against the devil, if men fail the family quickly fails and unravels. We meet at 6-7:30 AM on every Saturday so we don't take away time from our families. More information can be found at their website

From the website:
That Man is You! is transforming men, families and society as it presents the vision of man fully alive! Combining the teachings of the Church and wisdom of the saints with the best research from modern science in an interactive, multimedia format, That Man is You! puts this vision within the grasp of every man.
