The Church makes condoms?
A Protestant friend of mine claims that the Church produces more condoms than any one else. I really do not think that this is true, but he wants proof.

Burden of proof lies on him, friend. I don't even know how he can back that up, so ask him why he says so.

Absolutely ludicrous since the Catholic Church is the only body that prohibits condoms under all circumstances (ask him if a married couple who want to delay childbearing can use them and see what he says - the Church, however, prohibits even this use).
As others have written, however, the burden of proof lies with him. There are many companies that produce them. I'm sure most if not all of them are publicly traded, which means it would be simple for him to do his homework and find the major stakeholders.

No, the Catholic church does not manufacture condoms.
However, in 2010 a Catholic church in Switzerland made custom rainbow condoms and handed them out of AIDS awareness.

He's probably only trying to get to you. He should prove it, and he can't, because lies cannot be proven no matter how hard one tried.

Well, he should really be made to prove such an outrageous claim. However, a quick Google search shows that a public company in India (HLL) is the largest manufacturer.
