Re: Fortnight for Freedom
O God our Creator,
Through the power and working of your Holy Spirit,
you call us to live out our faith in the midst of the world,
bringing the light and the saving truth of the Gospel
to every corner of society.
We ask you to bless us
in our vigilance for the gift of religious liberty.
Give us the strength of mind and heart
to readily defend our freedoms when they are threatened;
give us courage in making our voices heard
on behalf of the rights of your Church
and the freedom of conscience of all people of faith.
Grant, we pray, O heavenly Father,
a clear and united voice to all your sons and daughters
gathered in your Church
in this decisive hour in the history of our nation,
so that, with every trial withstood
and every danger overcome—
for the sake of our children, our grandchildren,
and all who come after us—
this great land will always be "one nation, under God,
indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Re: Fortnight for Freedom
O Glorious Archangel St. Michael, Prince of the heavenly host, be our defense in the terrible warfare which we carry on against principalities and powers, against the rulers of this world of darkness, and spirits of evil.
Come to the aid of man, whom God created immortal, made in His own image and likeness, and redeemed at a great price from the tyranny of the devil. Fight this day the battle of the Lamb, together with the holy angels, as already you have fought the leader of the proud angels, Lucifer, and his apostate host, who were powerless to resist you. That cruel and ancient serpent, who is called the devil or Satan, who seduces the whole world, was cast into the abyss by you along with his angels. Assist us to rid the world of the devil and his servants. As there is no place for them any longer in heaven, there is no place for them here on earth.
Behold, this primeval enemy and slayer of men has taken courage. He wanders about with a multitude of wicked spirits, invading the earth in order to blot out the name of God and of His Christ. He comes to seize upon, to slay and cast into eternal perdition, souls destined for the crown of eternal glory. This wicked dragon pours out, as a most impure flood, the venom of his malice on men. He does this with the design that when the pastor has been struck, the sheep may be scattered.
Arise then, O invincible Prince, bring help against the attacks of the lost spirits to the people of God, and give them victory. We venerate you as our protector and patron; in you, the Holy Mother Church glories as her defense against the malicious power of hell; to you has God entrusted the souls of men. Pray to the God of peace that He may put Satan under our feet, that he may no longer be able to hold men in captivity and harm the Church.
Offer our prayers in the sight of the Most High, so that they may quickly appease the mercies of the Lord; and beating down the dragon, do you again make him captive in the abyss, that he may no longer seduce the world.
Amen.

Re: Fortnight for Freedom
O GOD OUR CREATOR,
from your provident hand we have received
our right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.
You have called us as your people and given us
the right and the duty to worship you, the only true God,
and your Son, Jesus Christ.
Through the power and working of your Holy Spirit,
you call us to live out our faith in the midst of the world,
bringing the light and the saving truth of the Gospel
to every corner of society.
We ask you to bless us
in our vigilance for the gift of religious liberty.
Give us the strength of mind and heart
to readily defend our freedoms when they are threatened;
give us courage in making our voices heard
on behalf of the rights of your Church
and the freedom of conscience of all people of faith.
Grant, we pray, O heavenly Father,
a clear and united voice to all your sons and daughters
gathered in your Church
in this decisive hour in the history of our nation,
so that, with every trial withstood
and every danger overcome—
for the sake of our children, our grandchildren,
and all who come after us—
this great land will always be “one nation, under God,
indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Re: Fortnight for Freedom
O glorious prince St. Michael, chief and commander of the heavenly hosts, guardian of souls, vanquisher of rebel spirits, and servant in the house of the Divine King. We ask you who shine with the grace of God to deliver us from all evil. We turn to you with confidence that you will enable us, by your gracious protection, to serve God more and more faithfully every day.
Amen
Pray for me, Saint Michael, and also for those I love. Protect us in all dangers of body and soul. Help us in our daily needs. Through your powerful intercession, may we live a holy life, die a happy death, and reach heaven where we may praise and love God with you forever.
Amen
Please pray for us St. Michael, Prince of the Church of Jesus Christ, that we may be made worthy of His promises of redemption and everlasting life.
Amen
Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed by Thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.
Amen.
Almighty and Everlasting God, Who, by Your goodness and a merciful desire for the salvation of all men, has appointed the Archangel St. Michael Prince of the Church of Your Son Jesus Christ. Make us worthy to be delivered from all of our enemies, that none of them may harass us at the hour of our death, but that we may be conducted by him into Your Presence. This we ask through Jesus Christ Our Lord, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit. One God, forever and ever.
Amen.
Saint Michael, pray for us.
Amen
