Default Prayers for all parents of young children

Dear Heavenly Father,
I pray for all parents of young children,
parents who are either in intact unions
or struggling after the agony of
separation, divorce or widowhood.

We are so human and so dependent on Thy Wisdom,
But often we judge each other in anger,
And the consequences for families can be so detrimental
To the home environment and to the little ones.

We see the struggling parents everywhere.
Rushing to work, struggling to pay bills.
We feel their exhaustion.

We see single mothers and fathers doing their best.
Those being torn apart in extremely trying situations.
Divorced parents trying to balance everything.
Peace sometimes eludes us,
We are sometimes too late to help save a marriage.
Show us how to live in loving compassion even
When we feel it is too late.

Our Heavenly Father, Lord of time and circumstance,
Who is like the Father of the Prodigal Son, welcoming
And all forgiving.
Show us into the Feast of Thy Love!

Forgive us if we judge. We want the best
For our grown children.
We are dependent upon You.
We need Your Divine Mercy
And your forgiveness and understanding.
And your wisdom, to show us how to move forward
Towards They Grace.

In the Name of the Father and of the Son and of Thy Holy Spirit.
Amen

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death
Amen.

St. Jude, pray for them!

Raising children for God has never been easy, but it seems especially hard these days. I will most definitely keep parents and their children in my prayers!

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen.
And God bless sweet Kathryn Ann, our CAF mommy.

Oh, how very kind! I am so grateful for you and all those posting here on this thread! I hope this thread will continue, as my heart goes out to all parents, and especially those who are young and struggling. May God give them strength and help us to help them!

Remember, O most chaste spouse of the Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who implored your help and sought your intercession were left unassisted. Full of confidence in your power I fly unto you and beg your protection. Despise not O Guardian of the Redeemer my humble supplication, but in your bounty, hear and answer me. Amen.

Dear bcra, I am so very sorry to hear of your situation, and pray that you will be able to see your beautiful grandchildren. Jesus hears the prayers of all who care for children! God knows all the circumstances, and you and all the children have my best prayers.

Our Lady and Her Holy Son hear and see all. Miracles do happen, and that is my prayer for all who have children under their care.
May God Bless you all!

Yes, you are right, Marie Anthony, it does seem especially hard today for parents raising children. Many are away from their own parents, (who are the children's grand-parents) and it can be so isolating.

Often, both parents work long, hard hours, and the home is not always the haven it needs to be even with one full time parent always at home. Divorce, separation, finances, all these things are severe challenges.

I pray too for un-wed mothers who have few family members of their own to help. I pray for struggling fathers, mothers, grand-parents doing their best to care compassionately for children. Thank you so much for your prayers!

Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art you amongst women and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Remember, O most pure spouse of Mary, and my dearly beloved guardian, St. Joseph, that never was it known that anyone who invoked your care and requested your help was left without consolation.

Inspired with this confidence, I come to you, and with all the ardor of my spirit I commend myself to you. Do not reject my prayer, O Foster Father of the Savior, but graciously receive and answer it. Amen.
