Default Pray For Seafarers

Eternal Father, strong to save,
Whose arm hath bound the restless wave,
Who bidd'st the mighty ocean deep
Its own appointed limits keep;
Oh, hear us when we cry to Thee,
For those in peril on the sea!

Please keep those who live and work on the seas in your prayers. Life at sea is often very hard and very lonely. Catholic Mariners are often unable to receive the Sacraments for many months.

I join my new ship on 23rd August. Please say a prayer for me and for all seafarers.

Lord, hear our prayer on behalf of Our Lady, the Star of the Sea; and St. Erasmus and St.Nicholas. Please keep all mariners safe at sea and bring them back home to their loved ones. Amen.

Thank you for the prayers for me, and for the other men and women who risk their lives working at sea.

May the Lord keep every one of you safe while away at sea. May you each keep close to the Lord and keep your lives centered upon him. May he comfort you and give you all the graces you need to keep in a state of grace. Amen.

Can you take a small dvd player with you, with a downloaded Internet Mass burned to a dvd...at least that would give you something...May God be with you every moment. If you could also take a Mass missal and a small bible for the readings...?
