How funny; I was just whistling the Tetris theme (which Wikipedia tells me is a Russian folk song called Korobeiniki) today.

Got thinking of other long-gone sounds, the the cracking of ice in an old-fashioned ice-cube tray:


Or the sound (and sometimes cursing) before the modern age when mowers didn't start electronically:



Soon to be extinct: the sound of flipping thru the pages of a book.
