Default Prayer for my best friend

I'm seeking for open hearts who will please pray for one of my best friends. I won't go into details as there are some thing he doesn't wish for me to say, but one of my best friends, Scott, had made a lot of decisions in which he strayed from God. One which he often refers to that "damned him." While he wishes to be accepted back onto the right path, he believes that what he's done can't be forgiven even after he has repented from what he used to do in the past and accepts Gods. He has even said when walking into a church, his chest feels like its in a vice and it's God's way of rejecting him, however, I believe it's more fear. He has prayed to God, but he feels that his prayers fall on deaf ears and that God won't forgive him. Scott is a really good man and I do what I can to pray for him, but sometimes I just don't feel it's enough.

So, I'm asking others who will help pray for him, please. What he needs most is God in his life to help him. God is merciful and will forgive, and I have no doubt that he will forgive my best friend. Please, just take a moment to keep my friend in your prayers. He means a lot to me.

Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be
done, on earth as it is in heaven Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our
trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil. Amen

Hail Mary full of grace the Lord is with thee
blessed art thou among women and
blessed is the fruit of thy womb Jesus
Holy Mary mother of God pray for us
sinners now and at the hour of our death
Amen.

Glory Be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit.
As it was in the beginning is now ever shall be world without end Amen

There is always repentence and forgiveness. The parable in Luke 15:11-32 is an excellent example of reconciliation with God. I will a pray that your friend realizes this...

Our Father, Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name;
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Thank you all so much. I have no words that will do enough justice to say how much I appreciate all of your support for him.

Praying for your friend.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

Amen.

Lord, please pour your healing love into Scott's heart and heal him. Help him to pray, and put him in contact with a good, holy priest who can help him spiritually. Thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayer.

"Have mercy on me, O God,
according to your steadfast love;
according to your abundant mercy blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
and cleanse me from my sin!
For I know my transgressions,
and my sin is ever before me.
Against You, You only, have I sinned,
and done that which is evil in your sight,
so that You are justified in your sentence,
and blameless in your judgment.
Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,
and in sin did my mother conceive me.

Behold, You desire truth in the inward being;
therefore teach me wisdom in my secret heart.
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;
wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Fill me with joy and gladness;
let the bones which You have broken rejoice.
Hide your face from my sins,
and blot out all my iniquities.
Create in me a clean heart, O God,
and put a new and right spirit within me.

Cast me not away from your presence,
and take not your holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of your salvation,
nd uphold me with a willing spirit.
Then I will teach transgressors your ways,
and sinners will return to You.
Deliver me from blood guiltiness, O God,
thou God of my salvation,
and my tongue will sing aloud of your deliverance.
O Lord, open thou my lips,
and my mouth shall show forth your praise.

For You have no delight in sacrifice;
were I to give a burnt offering,
You would not be pleased.
The sacrifice acceptable to God is a broken spirit;
a broken and contrite heart, O God,
You will not despise.
Do good to Zion in your good pleasure;
rebuild the walls of Jerusalem,
then will You delight in right sacrifices,
in burnt offerings and whole burnt offerings;
then bulls will be offered on your altar." - (A Penitential Psalm).
