Books Dealing with the Dating/Courtship

I have read quite a few books on dating and courtship. They all have different ideas but I like hearing them. Does anyone have any suggestions?

ABC's of Finding a Good Husband

Here's my Top Three best in my opinion.

Love and Responsibility by Karol Wojtyla, (before he was Pope John Paul II. This is Theology of the Body in its infancy.)


The Exclamation by Patricia Wrona (helps in discerning)

Mars and Venus on a Date: A Guide to Navigating the 5 Stages of Dating to Create a Loving and Lasting Relationship. Yup. That's it. The same John Gray who writes the rest of the Mars and Venus books.

Now if only I could put all this into practice....

Three to Get Married by Fulton J Sheen is a very good book to read.

A good book for women to read is The Privilege of Being a Woman by Alice von Hildebrand. Her husband Dietrich von Hildebrand wrote a good book- Marriage: The Mystery of Faithful Love.

These three deal more with marriage than dating however they do paint a good picture of what to strive for when dating. After all, it is the end goal of dating and courtship.

It's called How Far Can We Go? A Catholic Guide to Sex and Dating. It's fairly new, but all the reviews so far have been very positive.
