Lending a phone
This man asked to use my phone the other day to make a quick call to a Christian ministry that helps people who are down on their luck. He explained that he was trying to turn his life around, and he needed a phone to call the place to set up an appointment. I was more inclined to lend it after seeing him reading a Bible. However, before I lent it to him, I realized that this was a Protestant organization he was calling, and my lending him the phone could make me an accomplice to his learning Protestant heresies. I decided to lend it in the end however, because his goal was to turn his life around, not necessarily to call an organization for Protestant ends.
Was this the right decision?
If his goal was to learn about and further his Protestant faith, should I not lend the phone?

Re: Lending a phone
You are being scrupulous.
You do realize that Catholic social services work together ecumenically with social services of other denominations and of no religion at all, right?

Re: Lending a phone
I think you made a very kind decision. I would trust the help of pretty much any Protestant organization. Getting help for himself should come before theological examination.
But,
Did you get the phone back?
