Default Please pray for my friend who srained her ankle

My Brothers & Sisters in Christ:

Please pray for my friend who badly sprained her ankle while visiting her family on Sunday. It's really quite painful and makes it hard to walk - She's gone from walking independently to hobbling around using a walker. She's stubborn and doesn't like taking advice; She's a workaholic who'd rather die than miss work; and she's has a hard time throwing stuff out...

Please, pray that my friend's ankle would heal, that the Lord would heal this sprained ankle and allow her to regain her ability to walk, that she would lose some of her stubbornness and come to realize that at least some of us who are trying to giver her advice are doing so because we care, not because we want o prove we're somehow better than her or some other garbarge her brain may be telling her. Pray that my friend would understand that while work can be therapeutic, living to work can be unhealthy, that while we are not created for the Sabbath, the Sabbath was created for us and for our benefit.

Finally, Please pray that she would come to a saving knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, that she would come to know Him and His love for her so she doesn't need the junk to insulate & protect her from the "cold, cruel world".

As Our Lord Jesus said, we need to ask for what we want & need.
Please ask. Thank you.
Your Brother in Christ,
Michael

St Raphael, pray for Trad's friend, that she may experience healing of body and mind and soul. May she look to the example of Jesus in her life to inspire her to use he r suffering well and to embrace those who care for her. Amen.

Sending up a prayer....

Please stress to her that if she has even a mild (first-degree) sprain, she needs to elevate her leg and apply a compression bandage for a few days. This is not something to be brushed aside - she has damaged her ligaments and should be avoiding any activities that could further compound that damage.

Give her some Tough Love
