Guess not.

I'll take your word for it. I do get mixed up as to who says what, so I might have inferred you wrote some combination of things that nobody actually did. Does that make sense?
God bless you too. Thanks for your reply!

I admit that I get pretty passionate in discussions like this. I just hate to see someone open themselves up to evil, knowingly or unknowingly, by dabbling in divination and the occult. Those kinds of things can really lead a person off track and away from God. Life's too short to take those kinds of chances.

Re: Your thoughts on Psychics (important answers)
You need to be careful about psychics. In my younger days I'd consult them, sometimes good, sometimes bad. There was one who was Italian catholic, and she prayed and blessed with priest-blessed holy water and oil, but she never told me much. Another one told me right on stuff, all within a year it happened. But she didn't pray.
So I wonder, the catholic one probably should not be doing that. We are warned about false prophets, and the one who didn't pray, and things happened (bad things like a devastating car accident) I wonder if the devil told her and caused the accident.
I do however believe In Prophetic dreams. We are taught and even biblically, the Lord oftentimes tells us things through dreams. We have no control over dreams. My mother and I both have the 'gift' of dreams. I put the word gift in " " because my mom feels its a gift and I find it a burden (I sleep with the tv on So as not to dream anymore).
So I would not waste my time, money and worry on so called psychics, because you don't know what you are really delving into. Instead I would pray to God for guidance and enlightenment. I learned if you put God first In Your life everything falls in place, and if you trust Him There is no need to even look toward the future, and if you love Him and neighbor, you are taken care of just as the lilies of the field are. Live in the present, that's all that counts right now

If it's not coming through the Church it's probably not coming from God.
The Psychic knows things she shouldn't - that isn't a natural ability.
She claims to see the future - this isn't natural either.
No matter how accurate what she says is, you have to consider the source. It might seem very good, it might seem helpful but it is not of God.
Turn your back on these false forms of comfort and cling to our Lord. It won't be easy. He warns us that the path will be difficult, but if you cling to Him you will come out as a child that has roughed the fire and is now golden.
Interesting little anecdote but I know a lady who went to a 'psychic' but she was praying the whole time because she was uncertain. The woman ordered her to stop praying because as long as my friend was praying she couldn't see anything. I thought that was very telling.
