Default Is Anybody Out There?

Hi, I'm looking for a support group of people interested in losing weight and maintaining weight, in eating healthy and getting healthy exercise, etc., etc. I've been a "yo-yo" dieter all my life. My most recent diet started mid-March 2012 and I've lost about 20 pounds in these last 3 months....and I realize that my struggle with gain/loss of those pounds is actually an emotional journey.

Today is one of those days that I feel like I'm losing weight this week. Surprisingly enough, staying away from sodium/salt really helps too. May God help me with my fast this morning. Every Wednesday morning (except if it's a holiday--next week it's the 4th of July) I fast for our church.
Hope everyone else is doing well.
God bless.

Trying to get on a good diet has never been easy, I've been trying to take off those extra pounds by excercise, swimming and walks and trying to stay away from alot of bad food.

I had a wonderful experience last night....I got home from work, and I didn't feel that hungry. Usually, I feel like I'm starving and have a huge tossed salad to fill up. Last night, I didn't feel like having salad and had a small entree instead. Nice feeling for a change!

Just got back from my weigh-in. I lost 1.4 this week. Yeah!

My husband and I are going away for a few days for the Fourth of July; my goal is to not gain any weight even though we'll be eating out for those few days.

Well, I guess I will look elsewhere for a weight-loss support group.

Thank you, Shannon, for your comment.

God's blessings to all.

I wish this thread were more active. Maybe we can just all pm each other and give support. It's so hard to find any Catholic weight loss fourms out there. Wish the Lightweigh would come up with one or something. Let's keep this thread going ok?
