my advice would be to ditch the in's and the outs of church policy and just go with the flow instead. That way you will achieve some of the calm that helps you to sleep at night.
Thats if of course you don't replace it with worrying about some other doctrine and philosphy of which there aint any right answers etc. Just be that Pilgrim or just be. Its refreshing I can tell you

I have trouble with the "just be" part. Need to work on that. I do feel like a Pilgrim.

Just be is kind of same thing as being a pilgrim. Just a different way of saying it - I think Though am starting to read the History of England By Hume tonight as its free on Kindle and can take as long as I want. That may take away some of your philosphy patterns so you can sleep well?

Hope this is not outside the types of 5 solas....I don't understand them....but any way...
www.calledtocommunion.com just came out with an article today that discusses the paradigms of Sola Scriptura and points out how Catholicism does not fit in with them, and how its construct avoids consequences of different paradigms...
I find it a great site and there are a number of articles written by former Protestants who have a great grasp of understanding of differences, help define them, and find the answers in Catholicism....

Hi Kathleen,
Haven't chatted with you in awhile. I appreciate the link. A lot of info there.
[Sidebar: I see more Episcopalian Parishes are joining the Ordinariate.]

Hi Anna...
I think this site is great...and I especially was taken by the one going back to, I believe, August, 2009, on ecclesial deism...of which Catholics are, more so than Orthodox, because we see the papacy as the sign of communion and living revelation.
