I made the Consecration to Mary - but I no longer am devoted to it
Has anyone had this situation? I made a Consecration to Mary according to St. Louis de Montfort earlier this year, and it was important to me. But soon afterwards, I went on a spiritual retreat, focusing on the spiritual exercises of St. Ignatius, and afterwards i felt too divided among these differing devotions. I am currently studying a book of spirituality similar to St. Ignatius, and I am trying to practice the sacraments fully, but I have not returned to focusing on the Consecration prayers or the attention to that devotion. Is all lost??

No, all is not lost.
There is no reason why you cannot consecrate yourself to our Blessed Mother and follow Ignatian spirituality as well. Our Lady's prayers can only help you on your spiritual journey.

Re: I made the Consecration to Mary - but I no longer am devoted to it
Yes we do a family rosary and I do a "little crown" daily. But the other recommended prayers, the idea of continually offering all my prayers through Mary, I have not continued. I find it difficult to follow both devotions continually, Marian devotions and St. Ignatius exercises, actually, just sincerely trying to stay "out of the world" is the greatest challenge...

You're doing good. Always keeping Mary in your thoughts and prayers. I too have Consecration to Mary. I always keep her close to me. All my prayers, deeds, thoughts are given to her to deliver to Jesus. Mary has been wonderful and Loving toward me and my family.
