It is a hoot but fictitious. The Cumberland Church received so much flack about it that they were forced to post a notice on their website stating that it was all a prank. One person did a review of the pictures and concluded that the shadows were all the same. Proving that it was fictitious. The website of the Church gives a link to how these "signs" were made.

It is funny but the truth is dogs don't have an immortal soul. I just can't see a Catholic church saying this which of course it didn't.

I thought that might be the case, but I thought it was funny anyway. Being a great animal lover, I like to think they will be in heaven anyways. Just a happy thought!

With Photoshop, anything is possible! There are even several sites where you can go to make your own billboards, road signs, etc. They just supply a blank sign photograph and you type in whatever you want - it's kinda fun for birthdays, anniversaries, etc.
