Default A prayer for respect of life

In a common main-stream media website, a discussion about having children is taking place. My heart is saddened to read so many opinions stating that having more than one or two children is, and I quote, "Shameful, irresponsible and selfish". The reigning opinion in the forum currently is that families with more than 2 children should be publicly shamed, and that we should all proactively do what we can to not have more than one child.

My heart aches for these people. While some may only have one children, some may have no children, and some may be blessed with many children, it is upsetting to read how vehemently one can be opposed to God ever willing more than one per family.

Blessed heart of Jesus, you bleed that we might live. You weep for us, and yet we continue to walk further away from You. Heal our hearts, heal our minds. Amen.

Praying for your intention,
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me.

Amen.

Default Are we not ourselves alive? Yet disdain life? God forbid.

ABBA! Brother Jesus! Lord and Giver of Life the Holy Spirit! We cry to Thee, O Undivided Unity! Deliver us from this easily-believed deception! Insure life is delighted in and nurtured here on Earth! Deliver us from the insanity of sin. Our geniuses, as prophesied, are perverted and give quarter to the Father of Lies and Murder.

Humbly begging Thy perfect pardon, we ask Thee--do not reject us--to accept all that we have and all that we are in loving, obedient surrender to Thy holy will. Grant us miracles. Have mercy on us! Like the prodigal son dining with swine on pig fodder, enlighten the eyes of our hearts, and receive us into union with our family, created, loved and led by Thee. Our tears water Thy hands in this welcoming embrace that delivers us from the world, the flesh and Satan that lying, murderous rebel. God, we renounce Satan and all that is his, and humbly pray, rebuke him.

Make us Gideon's army of 300 good warriors. Let the outnumbering enemy, wolves preying upon us, Thy sheep, be shocked into turning against themselves. Exalt our young mother, the Immaculate Heart, and her perfect purity of intent. Make her purity and wisdom ours, too. With us, her other children, grant the Immaculate Heart of Mary swift triumph with the Sacred Heart of Jesus. May we always obey our mother who commands us of Christ our Lord and Savior, "Do whatever He says."

The chariots are drowned in the sea, horse and rider, in our liberation from slavery. We offer ourselves as donkeys, mare and colt, every mother, every child, all in service to carry our Savior in His visitation of mercy, abundance and blessing upon all creation as we sing, "Holy, Holy, Holy! Lord God of Hosts. Heaven and Earth are filled with Thy glory. Hosannah in the highest. Blessed is He that comes in the name of the Lord. Hosannah in the highest."

Grant us victory through Him, with Him and in Him and let us join Thee in Heaven our home to cast our crowns before Thy eternal throne. Tabernacle us here on Earth in the peace and prosperity of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Separate us as Thine own, and bring us home to Thee with upraised arms unfailing and full of righteous deeds performed all for Thy honor and glory alone. Let us give full voice to our triumphant shouts, our songs of thanks and praise for Thee. As Christ commanded, we call to Thee to grant Thy Holy City, Jerusalem, divine peace. Keep us faithful and true throughout the trials we face as we declare, "Even so, come Lord Jesus. The Spirit and the Bride say, 'COME!'"
AMEN

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, we fly unto thee, O Virgin of Virgins, our mother. To thee do we come, before thee we stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not our petitions...
But in thy mercy hear and answer us. AMEN

Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us now and at the hour of our death. AMEN

Lord, have mercy! Convert the hearts of your wayward children and enlighten them. Help them and bless them. Let them know that having many children is a blessing from you, you who told us to be fruitful and multiply. Amen.
