Just for future reference, and for anyone else that may face this issue (of not having the Godparents there) you can have a proxy be there at the baptism. With one of my kids we did that because their Godparents were my siblings, but they live far away from us, could not come at the moment, and there is no way on Earth that I was going to travel with a baby that has not been baptized yet.

We try to schedule for as soon as possible after they are born, so far it has been 3-10 days old.
