The Feast of the Most Precious Blood
Today is the feast of the Most Precious Blood in the EF. It was a lovely Mass this morning! It is a shame this feast was lost in the kalendar shuffle. Many wonderful thoughts were heard in our pastor's sermon today.

Long drive but worth it.

Re: The Feast of the Most Precious Blood
I did not know today was the feast day I went to communion, but there was no one giving wine today sunday. The excuse is usually people are on vacation. I went to regular church today, but I went to different mass time. Just can't win sometime

Re: The Feast of the Most Precious Blood
OFers, not to worry, this Feast is more or less kinda sorta celebrated on Corpus Christi...
But Father mentioned in his sermon today that Corpus Christi is more about adoring Christ in the Blessed Sacrament, and that today is more about the atoning and propitiatory/sacrificial effects of His Precious Blood.
I like both Feasts.

Do you mean the Precious Blood? They never give wine at my parish.
I might receive something that has the accidents of wine but no wine at my parish.
